About the event
Village in Motion: Pathways to Belongingย is a community-based youth workshop for ages 15-17 designed to uplift youth, celebrate culture and creativity, and provide meaningful tools that support their well-being and future success. Participants will receive a pair of Nike Air Force 1s to customize and paint as a way to express their identity, creativity, and personal stories through art.
Throughout the workshop, youth will connect with community mentors and engage in meaningful conversations around emotional regulation, coping strategies, positive decision-making, and the importance of education. Guest speakers will also share insight on gang prevention, resilience, and building strong pathways for the future.
The program will include Indigenous cultural teachings and practices, such as an opening prayer, smudging, and traditional teachings, helping create a space rooted in culture, reflection, and community connection. Lunch and refreshments will be provided, and youth will also have the option to receive a free haircut fromโฆ

Youth Participant Registration
Submitting a registration form does not guarantee placement in the workshop. All registrants will be contacted and notified whether or not they have been selected to participate. Those who are selected will receive a waiver and consent form that must be completed and returned by a parent or guardian to confirm their spot. Selection is based on age eligibility and available space.
