About the event
A Village in Motion: Pathways to Belongingย is a community-based youth workshop for ages 15โ17 designed to uplift youth, celebrate culture and creativity, and provide meaningful tools that support their well-being and future success.
Each participant will receive a pair of Nike Air Force 1 shoes in black or white as a symbol of movement, confidence, and walking forward in a good way. The shoes also connect to the workshopโs focus on balance through the Medicine Wheel, supporting emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual wellness.
Through creativity, basketball, boxing, movement, and self-reflection, youth will be encouraged to explore healthy coping strategies, build confidence, and connect with positive outlets they can carry forward beyond the event. Whether through shooting hoops, boxing, walking, creating, or expressing themselves in a safe space, the program supports youth in finding healthy ways to release stress, regulate emotions, and stay connected to themselves, their bodies, and their community.
