Reclaiming Your Center
A Gentle Series for Stability & Reconnection
Service Description
Focus: Healing the inner self • Rebuilding trust • Storytelling & journaling • Coping tools for safety Description: Many of us carry younger parts of ourselves that were hurt, silenced, or left behind. This series offers a safe, guided process to reconnect with those parts — not to relive the trauma, but to gently meet those needs in the present. Through journaling, storytelling, guided visualization, and Indigenous teachings of balance, participants learn to reclaim voice, identity, and self-trust. Because opening up old wounds can feel overwhelming, the series also integrates practical coping tools to keep participants grounded throughout the process. By moving between gentle self-exploration and safety practices, participants build both inner stability and resilience. Best For: Transitional housing programs, shelters, youth/women’s nonprofits, healing groups. Key Outcomes: Recognize how past experiences shape current emotions and relationships Practice journaling and storytelling as pathways to release and self-expression Rebuild inner trust and stability through compassionate self-connection Learn practical coping strategies such as: Grounding through breath and sensory awareness Anchoring with safe place visualization Using “containment” exercises (imagining placing trauma in a safe container until ready to revisit) Developing a personalized safety plan (who/what helps when overwhelmed)
